With his background in marketing and business, Michael brings a unique perspective to Blackblox. His knowledge and experience managing long-term engineering and construction time-lapse projects, coupled with running Queensland’s top photographic agency for 7 years, has given him a unique set of skills that lend themselves perfectly to Blackbox.
Beginning his career in the Australian Defence Force, Ashley spent 4 years travelling around global hotspots like Afghanistan, the Persian Gulf, Kuwait and Timor Leste as a defence photo-journalist.
After leaving the military he started a commercial photographic agency, “Fullframe Photographics” which soon became Queensland's top photo studio. It was here that he worked on some of the largest infrastructure and construction projects in Australasia and began creating time-lapse production as a better way to showcase the complexities of a project.
Lee brings a weatlth of knowledge and experience from his time working across varied fields, including business consulting and management, community engagement, sponsorships, marketing and sales. His exceptional customer service ability has culminated in building trust and strong relationships with a vast network of business professionals. As an accomplished landscape photographer Lee's ability to visualise compositions to determine the best outcomes from start to finish is highly regarded.
Based in Perth, Western Australia. Taelor brings 5 years experience in sales and management with strong communication skills, attention to detail and proven ability to effectively motivate and lead a team.
With over 7 years experience in commercial photography, Dale has worked on many large engineering and constructions projects Australia wide. His skills and ability to create time-lapse sequences in challenging and dynamic environments has seen him become one of Blackbox’s premier roving time- lapse photographers.
Paul served with the RAAF for 12 years as an electronics engineer and attained his commercial helicopter licence (CPLH). The love of flying helicopters and airplanes continued after military life working for companies such as Boeing, Smiths Aerospace and GE as a electronics technician. Seeing the improvement in technologies of aerial photography, he chose to venture into the new industry of remotely piloted aircraft systems (aka drones) as a RPAS operator and flight instructor.
